Thank you to all the volunteers and those who donated food for the screening! We were able to screen 175 students, 5 of which were found to have heart problems which necessitated their restriction from sports. We hope that, through help from our sponsors and your donations, we have helped protect these children and that we can continue to do so at our next screening.

In partnership with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, NKEMS, and with the help of your donations we will be holding our first heart screening at Simon Kenton High School on May 8, 2013.  It will be open to all students attending Simon Kenton. Screenings are by appointment only. We hope all students will consider getting screened as sudden cardiac arrest can and does happen to anyone, athlete or not, and getting a thorough screening can help unnecessary deaths.

Thank you to our 2012 Cameron’s Cause Committee (not all present for photo) for jumping on board and making this event succeed!  Also we are grateful to all those who donated items for our silent auction as well as those who helped put the baskets together. We are looking forward to a great night thanks to all of you!
